The Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura (HACSB) will partner with local PHAs the Area Housing Authority of the County of Ventura and the Oxnard Housing Authority to distribute $400,000 in HUD Mainstream Voucher funds that will help house 45 families in Ventura County.

The Transportation, Housing and Urban Development (THUD) Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee will webcast its February 12 oversight hearing titled, “The Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Management of Housing Contracts During the Shutdown.”

HUD has informed CLPHA that the Department will host listening sessions across the country to discuss the inspection process with PHAs, multifamily property owners, and industry groups. The sessions follow a meeting with industry leaders on November 29 at which officials from REAC and PIH discussed potential changes to the inspect
