HUD has published Renewal Funding Inflation Factors (RFIFs) to adjust Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 renewal funding for the Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program. The notice apportions the expected percent change in national Per Unit Cost (PUC) for the HCV program, 9.60%, to each PHA based on the change in Fair Market Rents (FMRs) for their operating area.

HUD has extended the comment period for the proposed Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) rule by two weeks. Comments will now be due on Monday, April 24.

The lengthy 75-page notice touches on matters core to the missions and operations of local housing authorities.
