Continuing collaborative efforts to create additional permanent affordable homes with supportive services for people experiencing homelessness, the San Diego Housing Commission (SDHC) has applied for up to $23 million from the state Homekey program for two properties in collaboration with the City of San Diego and County of San Diego.
HUD has published Notice PIH 2023-13, which supersedes PIH Notice 2013-15, and provides PHAs with strategies to use HCVs while working with CoCs to prevent homelessness.
Specifically, this notice:

From an op ed in The Oklahoman written by Mark Gillett, executive director of the Oklahoma City Housing Authority, and Dan Straughan, Terri White, Jennifer Goodrich:
Our city is on the cusp of an investment that will change the lives and futures of thousands of people. Oklahoma City has over 20,000 families on a waiting list for subsidized housing and as of March 17, 2023, we have 1,339 people experiencing homelessness.
Protecting, expanding. and providing affordable housing has never been so important.

Today the Housing Authority of the City of Austin (HACA) was joined by Austin Mayor Kirk Watson and U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Deputy Secretary Adrianne Todman to announce that 300 project-based housing vouchers—including 100 Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) vouchers for homeless veterans—will be provided to ten projects across the city in a significant long-term investment toward ending homelessness in Austin.
